Leaving Behind the Old

Kris usually picks the kids up from school one or two days a week. One afternoon they were making their way through the parking lot and Wes spotted something out of the ordinary near Kris' truck. As they got closer they realized it was a shed snakeskin!


It was really cool because it was still in one piece. I guess from head to tail it probably was about 4 feet long. They picked it up to bring home and it broke in three pieces. Realizing how fragile it was we guess it must have happened right before pick up. How cool for us to find it!


Can you see the layer where it covered the snake's eyes? That's a creepy kind of cool :)
