A little while back a college friend blogged about Hulu.com. It piqued my interest. Weird name. Never heard of it. I needed to know more. Wikipedia's definition is "Hulu is a website that offers commercial-supported streaming video of TV shows and movies from NBC, Fox and many other networks and studios." Cool. So, I searched the site and found that it might just suit my "needs".
I have blogged before about our lack of television time, desire, needs. But, at the same time there are a few shows that come around that I like but their schedule just does not jive with mine. And for those of us *privileged* to pay for a limited number of channels, also comes the lack of TiVo or On Demand or whatever those services are called.
The more I looked into Hulu.com, I liked it. I could even subscribe to shows I like and they hold them in my queue. Then at my own convenience, I watch them on our computer.
Not a perfect solution, but a balance. The only problem I have is that my queue backs up and I still have to make the time to watch them! HA!
*Denotes spoken with tongue in cheek :)
