FLASHBACK: Ballet

This Spring brought Ann Elise's ballet and tap recital. She was very excited to be on stage and perform. We were very pleased with our new class. Her teacher did an excellent job of teaching the girls the basics while letting them have fun. She was in a sweet class...lots of personality!

I loved that the recital was important, yet low key. We had participated in another recital and it was just too much. These girls are little. Let them have fun. I don't like the stress of make-up and many outfits!

Ms. Lynn puts a strong emphasis on keeping her routines and costumes modest. Every class performs to various forms of Christian music. Ann Elise's class tapped to "I'm Gonna Sing, Sing, Sing! I'm Gonna Shout, Shout, Shout!" and it was adorable! I do not remember the music of the ballet routine, but it was a slower praise song. I really appreciate all the time and planning that went into making this year's class a success!

Ann Elise really enjoyed herself. Doesn't she make the cutest ballerina?!? :)
